Sinus Lift

Sinus Lift

A sinus lift is a surgical technique used when there is not enough bone in the posterior upper jaw for dental implant placement.

How a Sinus Lift is performed

The sinus is located in the back area of the upper jaw, right above the teeth. When the back teeth are lost, the bone height decreases. To place implants in that area, a sinus lift is necessary. It is a routine procedure that we have performed in our practice since 2001. The process takes about 50 minutes and is completely painless for the patient.
